KATHMANDU: A person was electrocuted in Jhor, Tokha Municipality-2 of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Bajra Bahadur Lama (48) of the place.

Lama was electrocuted while building a toilet at the house belonging to Surendra Tamang when he contacted a high-tension line with an an iron rod.

Severely injured Lama was rushed to the Grande International Hospital for treatment, where he breathed his last.

Further investigation is underway, informed police.
