KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested a man for allegedly trying to take away four newly imported television sets from the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Mangal Singh Limbu, a permanent resident of Phakumba-8 of Taplejung district, was arrested for trying to illegally take away four Samsung TV sets worth around Rs 80,000 each.

He was arrested from the taxi parking zone at the TIA international terminal.

Further investigation is underway.
