KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested a man with a fake 1,000-rupee banknote from Bhadrakali of the Capital on Saturday.

The arrestee has been identified as Tika Ram Tandukar (35) of Bagbazaar, KMC-31.

He was nabbed from the Bhadrakali-based Nepal Army-run fuel station today.

Further investigation is underway.
