Kathmandu, April 27:

The Kathmandu District Court yesterday denied bail to Deepak Manange, a notorious gangster who was arrested 15 months ago on charge of attempting to murder Milan Chakre, another gangster.

A single bench of justice Sushma Lata Mathema ordered authorities to put him in prison until the final verdict on the case. He has been sent to Dillibazaar prison, police said. Chakre Milan is also being detained in another prison on charge of attempting to murder Manange, said Hari Bahadur Pal, DSP at the Kathmandu District Police Office.
