Manokranti Yoddhas walk on fire barefooted

Kathmandu, November 16:

Can anybody walk on fire barefooted? The answer would be a no. But wait. It’s not only possible but also easy for the followers of Manokranti.

The followers of Manokranti Sadhak Sangh, studying yoga and stunts at Manokranti Matrix, today proved that they can walk on fire without getting hurt.

Thirty Manokranti Yoddhas walked on fire barefooted at Khulamunch amid a gathering of some 5,000 spectators. A 60 sq ft long fire trench had been made at Khulamunch for the walk.

After half an hour meditation, the Manokranti Yoddhas got ready to walk on the fire. They seemed to be out of this world after the meditation and full of do-or-die spirit. Even the crowd was uncontrollable when they stood up to walk on fire.

Former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba seemed visibly shocked to watch them walking on the fire. He said the stunts were awesome. He also assured the MSS of his support to promote Manokranti and the change it is trying to bring in the country.

Besides Deuba, many other renowned personalities like Dr Arun Sayami, former mayor Madan Krishna Shrestha and artiste Nanda Krishna Joshi were present at the programme.

Binod Poudel, one of the stunt performers, said he was feelingless when he walked on the fire. He said, “I did not get hurt as my sub-conscious mind had been activated through meditation before I got ready for the walk.”

Dhurbananda, the president of the Sangh, said the programme was outstanding. “Our success was more than expected,” he said adding, “The gathering was really encouraging despite some weaknesses of the management.”

Ghana Shyam Pun Magar, a spectator from New Plaza, said the stunt looked unbelievable. He said, “The stunt energised me so much that and I felt like I could also walk on fire.”

The Manokranti Yoddhas will run a bus over their bodies at Khulamanch tomorrow. Meanwhile, a group of three Manokranti Yoddhas will be leaving for India tomorrow to promote Manokranti in India.
