The much-awaited meeting of the central committee of the CPN-Maoist, which got underway today, will continue tomorrow.

Some central members are yet to put forth their views on the political report presented by Maoist supremo Prachanda today.

Today’s meeting saw Prachanda presenting the report, which outlined his “sincere” efforts and the result it is producing, which are beyond “his control.”

A large majority of the members today criticised the performance of the leadership. Some said that the Maoists joining the government had not produced any positive result for the party. They expressed dissatisfaction over the functioning of the government, which they said was being run by PM Girija Prasad Koirala alone.
