KATHMANDU: The United CPN (Maoist) put off the central committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday due to Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s busy schedule.

Meanwhile, the party is holding a press meeting at Singha Durbar on Wednesday at 4:30 pm. The senior Maoist leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai and former finance minister will speak on the party’s opinion of the budget 2009/10 in the meeting. The Maoists had been avoiding discussions of the budget in the house due to it being presented by an ‘unconstitutional government’, as said by them.
