KATHMANDU: All Nepal Farmers’ Association-Revolutionary and All Nepal Squatters’ Association, sister organisations of UCPN-Maoist, staged a two-hour chakka jam in the capital on Tuesday protesting the President’s move.

Chitra Bahadur Shrestha, the chairman of ANFA-R, said that the same programmes were organised throughout the country. He warned of continuing the protest programmes until the President rectifies his unconstitutional move and the house holds discussion on Sankalpa Prastav (Resolution Motion) tabled by the Maoists.

The vehicular movement at Koteshwor, Chabahil, Maharajgunj, Balaju, Kalanki and Baneshwor were effected by the chakka jam.
