KATHMANDU: Three-day South Asia Regional Conference on Violence Against Women in Politics kicked off here on Sunday. The conference is being organised by South Asia Partnership International. Hosts of other organisations are supporting the conference. The conference brought together lawyers, women politicians, advocates, academicians, policy researchers, civil society organisations, activists and the media from Afgha-nistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the UK and Canada.
