KATHMANDU: Collective Initiatives for Civil Rights (CICR) today submitted a three-point memorandum to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav urging him for necessary actions to maintain peace and security in the country.

Issuing a press statement, the CICR said it had urged the President to interfere to

ensure security to the citizens.

They also urged president Dr Yadav to guide the political parties to forge a consensus

to draft the constitution within the stipulated deadline.

The CICR had urged the President to solve burning issues such as the skyrocketing price and the disputes in industrial, transport as well as educational

sectors.
