Memorandum submitted

Kathmandu, April 1:

Demanding that its five-point demands be met, the struggle committee against HIV/ AIDS today submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister’s Office.

The panel comprises people living with HIV/AIDS, sex workers, drug users, mothers’ groups as well as homosexuals.

The committee held a rally from Bhadrakali today. The rally passed through different parts of the valley. Shibu Giri, a member of the struggle committee, said, “Groups affected by HIV/AIDS want the government to pay heed to their demands. The rallyists issued the Dhulikhel Declaration, Giri said.
