KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist died after being hit by a microbus in Makalbari, on the north-eastern outskirts of Kathmandu, on Saturday.

Bhakta Bahadur BK (27), a permanent resident of Dudhauli-3 of Sindhuli district, currently residing in Makalbari, Gokarneshwor-15, was hit by the microbus (Ba 1 Ja 6217) while he was riding his two-wheeler (Ba 34 Pa 5469) today.

Seriously injured in the accident, BK was rushed to the Nepal Medical College in Attarkhel of Jorpati, where he breathed his last during treatment.

Meanwhile, police nabbed the microbus driver.

Further investigation is underway.
