KATHMANDU: Police said a man was found dead on a bank of the Khashyang Khusung Stream of Changunarayan Municipality-5 of Bhaktapur on Wednesday.

Police have identified the deceased as 50-year-old Dil Bahadur Nepali of Jholachhen of Bhaktapur Municipality-5. His body was body found in a decayed state, police added.

Police stated that Nepali, who has been reported to be mentally retarded, had gone missing from home since April 21.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police added.
