Kathmandu, May 20:

The Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) today formed a three-member committee to look into the leak-out of questions of grade 11 Accounts paper. Dr Govinda Acharya, professor at Nepal Commerce Campus, MoES under-secretary Arjun Koirala, and member of +2 examination committee Bajra Bhusan Rai, are the members of the investigation committee and they have been asked to submit their report within a month. The questions were leaked out yesterday. The examination, which was to be held today, was postponed and has been rescheduled for June 5. According to an MoES official, the leak was noticed when a coaching centre distributed question papers to its students saying the examinees would get the same questions the next day. The official said four out of 12 pages of the questionaire were exactly the same. “It will be thoroughly investigated and due action will be taken against the culprit.”

This is the first time the questions were printed in Nepal. Earlier the HSEB questions were printed in India. The questions were printed by the Singhadurbar Minting Department.
