KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested two persons, a woman and her son, in possession of controlled drugs.

Laxmi Khadka (42), a permanent resident of Phasku-5 in Dolakha district, and her 26-year-old son Aashish were nabbed from their rented room in Naikap, Chandragiri-23 of Kathmandu on Thursday.

A team deployed from the Kalimati-based Metropolitan Police Circle had raided their room today.

Meanwhile, police recovered three different drugs from their room.

Further investigation is underway.
