KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday said that a motorcycle borne chain snatchers have been active in Kathmandu Valley recently.

Two motorcycle borne chain snatchers have snatched a gold necklace off a 65-year-old woman in front of her house in Koteshwor today.

According to police, the number of the bike is yet to be ascertained which fled towards Balkumari after the incident.

Similarly, an unidentified gang took away property worth Rs 53,000 from a house in New Baneshwor, KMC-10 last night.

Meanwhile, police said that they are looking into the case.
