KATHMANDU: Police on Sunday arrested a person on suspicion of his involvement in the murder of Chhechang Sherpa (64), a permanent resident of Solukkhubu.

An official said Furi Sherpa was arrested on suspicion that he murdered Chhechang to rob him of the ‘C’ mala the latter was wearing.

Chhechang was found murdered outside his rented room in Bauddha last Thursday.
