KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 15

The National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) has announced the creation of 63 new positions for nurses and paramedics.

This decision was reached during a Senate meeting at NAMS held on Sunday, chaired by its Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Health and Population, Mohan Bahadur Basnet.

As per the decision, 63 nurses and paramedics will be immediately recruited on a contract basis. Additionally, the Senate meeting approved the creation of positions for several pharmacy assistants, 30 staff nurses, four electricians, six plumbers, and a driver.

Moreover, the Senate meeting appointed three new members to the Senate and three academic council members at NAMS. Several other positions at NAMS were also approved during the meeting.
