Nayaghare bags literary award


KATHMANDU: The Madan Puraskar Guthi has announced the bigest literary award of the year to essayist Yubaraj Nayaghare for his book 'Ek Hatko Tali' (Claping with one hand). The Madan award is annually given to the best writer of the year.

According to a statement issued by the MPG yesterday, the award was annouced to Nayaghare. Similarly, Jagadambashree Purskar was given to Ram Sharan Darnal, for his research in folk music and contribution to the field of music since long.

Nayaghare, leading creator of journey literature, has authored seven books. The two awards bag Rs 200,000 each.
