KATHMANDU: Four democratic and one progressive candidate won the Nepal Bar Council election held on Saturday. Democratic candidates Ram Ghimire from Eastern Region, Krishna Bahadur Thapa from western region, Abdul Ajiz Miya from mid-western region and Deva Raj Awasthi from far western region emerged victorious in the polls. While progressive candidate Lava Kumar Mainali won the election from the Central region.
