NC CWC meeting on Friday

KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee meeting of Nepali Congress will resume on Friday at the party's central office in Sanepa.

The meeting, earlier scheduled for April 1, was stalled after demise of party leader Khum Bahadur Khadka. Khadka passed away on March 30.

The meeting is being held since March 23 to review the party’s humiliating defeat in provincial and parliamentary polls and to chart a course for the party’s revival.

It is expected that nomination of office-bearers would be proposed at the meeting scheduled for April 20.
