The forthcoming central working committee (CWC) session of the Nepali Congress (NC) is slated for February 15.
Krishna Prasad Poudel, the chief secretary of the NC central office, apprised the RSS that the agenda for the meeting encompasses the meticulous arrangements for the upcoming Mahasamiti gathering, scheduled from February 19 to 22.
The venue chosen for the NC Mahasamiti congregation is Godavari, Lalitpur. Notably, this marks the NC's inaugural Mahasamiti assembly subsequent to its 14th general convention.
The NC has successfully concluded elections for 90 percent of its Mahasamiti members, with the pending electoral processes confined to select regions.
An estimated 2,300 Mahasamiti members of the NC, inclusive of international delegates, are anticipated to grace the event with their presence.
