KATHMANDU: The Former Students’ Council of All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (FSC-ANNFSU) has welcomed the decision of the Nepali Congress (NC) to delete constitutional monarchy from its statute. In a press statement on Thursday, the council said the NC’s decision has respected the voice of the Nepalis. The FSC-ANNFSU has expressed its solidarity to a protest programme to be held at New Baneswor on Friday. The statement has also condemned police intervention in the students’ agitation organised in Nuwakot against recent hike in the price of petroleum products.
