NC should lead statute implementation: Singh

Kathmandu, April 15

Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh has said that the Nepali Congress should take leadership in implementing the new constitution.

Addressing a programme in Kirtipur today, leader Singh was of the view that the government should move ahead by addressing the concerns of the Madhesi people.

Accusing the incumbent government of being indifferent to people’s needs and issues, he said it was a matter of shame that the government had failed to make its presence felt.

Kathmandu president of Nepali Congress Sabuj Krishna Baniya urged the government to translate its commitments into action.

Lawmaker Rajendra Kumar KC said the government should work towards developing the country.
