KATHMANDU: A condolence meeting preparation committee of the Nepali Congress today formed different sub-committees to manage and prepare the function. NC will hold a condolence meeting on April 3 at Khula Manch over the demise of NC President Girija Prasad Koirala

The committee headed by NC Vice President Prakash Man Singh formed separate committees to oversee activities like managing the stage, preparing placards and other publicity materials, deploying volunteers, receiving foreign invitees and other preparatory works.

At today's meeting, held at NC headquarters in Sanepa, all ministers representing the party, three NC district presidents in the Valley and area presidents in the valley were directed to move ahead with the preparation works.

A meeting of the party's office bearers had formed the main preparation committee yesterday.

The NC is mourning the demise of its president who passed away on March 20.
