Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa called on Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Sunday.
The NC delegation, including Vice-Presidents Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Pushpa Bhusal, met with PM Karki at her official residence in Baluwatar. The meeting was attended by Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
During the meeting, PM Karki expressed her gratitude to the NC for the supportive role it played in ensuring the success of the March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) election, the Secretariat stated.
Prime Minister's press advisor Ram Bahadur Rawal added that PM Karki also encouraged the NC leaders not to be disheartened by their defeat in the recently held HoR election.
