NC to decide on Mahasamiti meet
Kathmandu, April 23
The ongoing Central Working Committee meeting of the main opposition party the Nepali Congress is likely to conclude tomorrow, as most of the CWC members have put their views across at the meeting.
Ten CWC members including Ananda Dhungana, Ambika Basnet put forth their views in today’s meeting, according to NC leader Min Bahadur Bishwokarma. He said that leaders, put balanced views in today’s meeting.
He said that senior leaders and former office bearers, including President Sher Bahadur Deuba would put their views in tomorrow’s meeting.
According to Bishwokarma, his party will take some crucial decisions — Mahasamiti meeting, views on the government’s works, the party’s humiliating defeat in provincial and parliamentary elections and chart out a course for the party’s revival. He said that the CWC members would also review the party’s role in contemporary politics, and the role of its sister wings.
The CWC meeting had started on March 23.
