KATHMANDU: A meeting of the reconstituted Nepal Communist Party (NCP)'s parliamentary party unanimously nominated Prime Minister and party Co-chair KP Sharma Oli as the parliamentary party leader.

The meeting of the parliamentary party convened at New Baneshwar for the first time after the party unification.

Lawmaker Dev Prasad Gurung had proposed co-chair Oli's name for the post and the meeting endorsed it unanimously. The meeting of the parliamentary party is in progress.
