NCP Standing Committee meeting called this afternoon
KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been called this afternoon.
The meeting is expected to take place at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar.
Prior to this, the party's standing committee had met on December 6 at the party's central office in Dhumbarahi. The recent papers drafted by party co-chairs Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli were presented and discussed at the meeting.
Secretariat of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), after multiple meetings, failed to take a call on the 19-page proposal registered by Dahal and Oli’s 38-page rebuttal, therefore, deciding to send the proposals to the party’s standing committee for discussion and resolution of intra-party feud.
