KATHMANDU, AUGUST 4

The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of the Grade 12 examinations today.

According to the results released this evening, 61.17% of regular students and 36.49% of partial students have passed the exams.

A total of 396,347 candidates had appeared under the regular category in the examinations held last Baishakh. Of them, 242,765 students received grades, while 38.83% were awarded a 'non-graded' status, the board reported.

Similarly, out of 114,640 students in the partial category, only 41,840 received grades.

In total, 511,525 candidates participated in the examinations, of whom 284,305 received grades, according to the Chairperson of the Board, Mahashram Sharma.

Additionally, the examinations of 11 regular and 6 partial students have been canceled.

The board further informed that a grade upgradation examination for students who received a 'non-grade' will be conducted on August 13 and 14.
