KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Constituent Assembly Subash Chandra Nembang today said that he would not cast his vote in the election of the Nepal Bar Association slated for Saturday.

Citing that he has currently been holding a public post, Nembang said he would not participate in the poll of the lawyers' body.

"I am confident that whoever becomes the victor in the election will promote the rule of law, independence of the judiciary and upheld human rights," he added.
