Nembang urges to pass Appropriation Bill by mid-August
KATHMANDU: Legislature-Parliament Speaker Subas Nembang suggested the party leaders to make necessary preparations for completing the discussions on Appropriation Bill by August 17.
Talking to the top leaders of the four major political forces in his office today, Speaker Nembang urged Prime Minister Sushil Koirala to help prepare the discussions on the bill by Sunday after consulting other political parties.
Following the meeting, Speaker Nembang said that he drew PM Koirala’s attention to pass the Appropriation Bill along with the constitution drafting process.
The government had tabled the budget of Rs 819 billion for the fiscal year 2072/073 BS in the Legislature-Parliament on July 14.
