Nepal Academy presents annual report to PM

KATHMANDU: Nepal Academy Chancellor Ganga Prasad Upreti  has submitted the annual report of the Academy to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal  at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday.

On the occasion, Chancellor Upreti informed the Prime Minister that the Academy was facing a budget constraint, urging him to address the problem.

In response, Prime Minister Dahal pledged to allocate necessary budget  to the Academy, adding that plans, policies and programmes for the organisational restructuring of the Academy would be initiated as the country had embraced federalism.

The Prime Minister is the patron of the Academy.
