KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 9
Chief of Army Staff General Prabhu Ram Sharma left for India on Tuesday for a four-day official visit at the invitation of Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane.
CoAS Sharma will receive the honorary title of General of the Indian Army from the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind.
It is customary for the army chiefs of both the countries to receive the honorary title from each other during their tenure as CoAS.
Lieutenant General Bal Krishna Karki saw off the nine-member delegation led by CoAS Sharma at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, today morning.
Sharma is scheduled to return on Friday.
