KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 3
The Nepal Authors Award 2025, organized by Infinity Services Pvt. Ltd., honored 40 outstanding authors for their contributions to literature, culture, and society at a ceremony held at the Yellow Pagoda Hotel in Kathmandu on Saturday.
According to the organizers, the event received 108 submissions, from which 40 writers were selected across multiple genres and categories, highlighting the depth and diversity of contemporary Nepali and international writing.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Jitendra Dhoj Khad and Shree Bhamananda, with other distinguished guests including General Gaurav S.J.B. Rana, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Chandni Joshi, and Dr. Prakash Regmi. Their presence added prestige to the event, which aimed to celebrate both emerging and established literary talents.
Special recognition was given to Dr. Yogesh Chandna, Dr. Nariram Luhar "Binod", and Er. Deepak Thapa for their key roles in supporting the successful execution of the program. The jury panel and Infinity Services team were also commended for their efforts in maintaining transparency and credibility throughout the selection process.
The event also introduced Nitin Munot Jain as the Global Brand Ambassador for the Nepal Authors Award, reinforcing its mission to promote collaboration and cultural exchange beyond Nepal's borders.
Speaking at the event, Sheetal Khadka, Founder of Infinity Services Pvt. Ltd., said that the initiative seeks to uplift writers, strengthen Nepal's literary identity, and bring Nepali literature to global audiences. "The Nepal Authors Award honors excellence and inspires futures by providing a platform for authors to shine both nationally and internationally," she added.
The Nepal Authors Award has positioned itself as a growing platform that bridges creativity, recognition, and cultural dialogue - reflecting Nepal's emerging literary prominence in the global arena.
