KATHMANDU: Nepal- China/Tibet Economic and trade fair 2009 in Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) of the Peoples'' Republic of China formally opened today.

Chairman of TAR Chamba Phuntsok and Commerce Secretary Purusottam Ojha, leader of Nepalese delegation of Nepal

jointly inaugurated the trade fair amidst special ceremony. On the occasion, Commerce Secretary Ojha highlighted the existingcordial Nepal-China relations including

the economic and trade relations. He said conducting of this kind of fair will help in cementing the ties.
