Nepal Communist Party (NCP)'s regulations passed

KATHMANDU: Today's secretariat meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has passed the party's regulations.

The meeting held at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar passed the regulations as per the interim statute prepared after party unification.

The meeting also decided to prepare time-bound action plan to forward unification process of party's line organisations, party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha was quoted as saying in Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

The meeting approved the report submitted by a taskforce comprising leaders — Bamdev Gautam, Ram Bahadur Thapa and Bishnu Poudel. The taskforce was formed to prepare final draft of the regulations on the basis of suggestions collected in party's standing committee meeting.

The NCP (NCP) Secretariat will meet next on July 12.
