Nepal, Israel sign ASA

Kathmandu: Nepal and Israel signed an Air Service Agreement (ASA) on Monday. The ASA allows both the countries’ designated airlines to fly four passenger and three cargo flights a week with any type of aircraft.

Madhav Prasad Ghimire, secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, and Israeli ambassador to Nepal Dan Stav signed the agreement here, the Tourism Ministry said.

The agreement allows both the countries to operate “only a designated airline each” on the Kathmandu and Tel Aviv sectors, a source said.
