Nepal Police, APF chiefs off to New York for UNCOPS
KATHMANDU: The Inspectors General of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, Upendra Kant Aryal and Durja Kumar Rai respectively, left for New York on Sunday evening to take part in the United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit (UNCOPS).
Armed Police Force's IGP Rai is accompanied by Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Ram Sharan Paudel, according to the APF.
The chiefs of security forces of 84 countries that provide security personnel to the United Nations for its peacekeeping missions are taking part in UNCOPS, scheduled for June 2-3, at the United Nations headquarters.
