Nepali Congress CWC meet to continue Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress party said its ongoing Central Working Committee meeting would continue on Tuesday as well.

The meeting would resume at 11 am tomorrow at the Central Office in Sanepa, according to the Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.

CWC members including Arjun Narsingha KC, Bal Krishna Khand, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Man Bahadur Bishwokarma, Umakanta Chaudhary, Jeeban Bahadur Shahi, Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Deepak Giri, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Kamala Panta, Ambika Basnet, Dhanaraj Gurung, Pushpa Bhusal, Surendra Raj Pandey, Ratna Sherchan, Shankar Bhandari, Ishwori Neupane, Parvata DC Chaudhary, Govinda Bhattarai, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Devendra Raj Kandel, Bishwa Prakash Sharma, Ramesh Lekhak and Kiran Yadav had expressed their views about the meeting agendas and contemporary political issues during the meeting.

Earlier, the CWC on had formed a 29-member Central Executive Committee to take decisions on significant issues in absence of the CWC meeting.

Likewise, two panels had been formed for cadre mobilisation and manifesto preparation for the local polls scheduled for May 14.
