Nepali Congress CWC meeting on Wednesday
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has called the meeting of party's Central Working Committee on Wednesday.
The meeting will centre on the party's 13th general convention and the contemporary political issues, including the ongoing agitation in Tarai-Madhes region and its resolution through the amendment of constitution and endorsing of the Reconstruction Authority Bill, which is yet to be tabled at the Parliament.
The largest and main opposition party in the Parliament, Nepali Congress has been obstructing the House demanding that the Constitution Amendment Bill that the erstwhile government led by Sushil Koirala be tabled simultaneously with the Reconstruction Authority Bill.
The CWC meeting will be held at the party's central office in Sanepa.
Nepali Congress is scheduled to hold its 13th general convention in Kathmandu in the first week of coming March.
