Nepali Congress to hold Koirala's condolence assembly on Sunday

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress would hold a central condolence assembly in memory of its President Sushil Koirala in Kathmandu on Sunday.

The former Prime Minister had died on Tuesday, February 9, and Sunday is the 13th day of his death.

According to party's office secretary Pradeep Parajuli, the function will begin at the Shanti Batika in Ratnapark at 1 pm on Sunday.

Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur district committees of the party would also take part in the function, according to Parajuli.

CWC meeting on Tuesday

Meanwhile, the party called a Central Working Committee meeting for coming Tuesday, February 23.

The meeting will discuss preparations for the upcoming 13th national general convention of the party.

The largest political party in the Parliament is holding the convention in the Capital on March 3-6.

The meeting will begin at 11 am at the party central office in Sanepa of Lalitpur.
