Nepali Congress to use e-voting in party polls

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress is likely to switch to e-voting system in its forthcoming 13th national general convention scheduled to be held on March 3-6.

Preparations have been made to conduct the election for the party's new leadership with the e- voting, said Central Election Committee coordinator Radheshyam Adhikari.

E-voting is meant for conducting the election and announcing the results in a shorter time.

The voting machine will be put on display at the party central office from Friday for orienting the general convention representatives.
