Nepali, German students working on risk management
Kathmandu, August 27:
Students of Khowpa Engineering College in Bhaktapur and the Institute of Technology in Tropics and Sub-Tropics (ITT), Germany, are jointly working on a one-year project on urban risk management in the Kathmandu Valley.
Dr Rajan Suwal, principal of the Khowpa College, said six students, two teachers and a professor from Germany are here to work with his students as per an MoU signed with the University of Applied Science. Speaking at a workshop, Lena, an ITT student, today said the project aims to develop a risk management plan for Bhaktapur municipality.
