Kathmandu: The fourth general assembly of the World Hindu Federation (WHF) Nepal national committee that was held from March 22 to 23 in the premises of Manakamana temple, Gorakha, elected Bachhan Shiromani Pundit Narayan Prasad Pokhrel as its chairman, WHF officials said in Kathmandu today. It also nominated Bishnu Panthi chairman of its youth wing World Hindu Youth Committee. Over 700 people participated the meeting that was was jointly inaugurated by Pundit Pokhrel and Nepali Baba. Speakers urged all to work at preserving Hindu religion and culture. — HNS
