The campaign is supported by Family Planning Division under Ministry of Health and Population. The campaign will provide counselling on family planning besides implanting Copper-T in interested women free of cost.

“In order to make the programme effective, we have roped in a number of popular singers and actors,” read a statement issued by Sabina Shrestha, project co-ordinator, NFPWC, for the press. Singers Nalina Chitrakar, Reema Gurung Hoda, Dhiraj Rai, Khem Gurung, comedians Surendra KC and Mampi Ghosh (Pawankali) and musician Prakash Gurung performed on April 20 in Jhapa’s Rajgadh as a part of the campaign.
