Nine secretaries transferred

The government has transferred and posted nine secretaries at different federal and provincial offices. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota said the Cabinet had taken the decision to this effect on Monday.

The government promoted Joint Secretary Hari Prasad Basyal to the post of secretary and posted him at Gandaki Provinces as the principal secretary of the province. The government also posted Kewal Bhandari as the principal secretary of Karnali Province. Likewise, Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Population Chandra Ghimire was transferred to the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens.

Principal Secretary of Karnali Province Ram Prasad Thapaliya was transferred to the Ministry of Health and Population. Principal Secretary of Province 1 Kedar Neupane was transferred to Kathmandu Metropolis and posted as the chief administrative officer.

Similarly, Chief Administrative Officer of Kathmandu Metropolis Yadav Koirala was transferred to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration. Likewise, Joint Secretary of Federal Affairs and General Administration Suresh Adhikari was posted as acting principal secretary of Province 1.

Secretary Hari Paudel, who served in the reserved pool, was transferred to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. Secretary of the National Women Commission Anil Kumar Thakur was transferred to the Prime Minister’s Office.
