KATHMANDU, AUGUST 26
The Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) successfully held its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Ministry Bar and Café, Gairidhara on Sunday.
The meeting featured routine sessions, including progress reports and financial updates, and concluded with the election of new Central Executive Board (CEB) members for the upcoming three years.
Tul Singh Gurung was elected as President, with Lakpa Sherpa serving as Vice President. Pimba Tenjing Lama will take on the role of General Secretary, and Hareram Khadka has been appointed Secretary. Abiral Rai was chosen as Treasurer, while Vinayak Jaya Malla, Pasang Kidar Sherpa, Tendi Sherpa, and Pemba Rita Sherpa will serve as CEB Members.
After the election, Ang Norbu Sherpa, the former president of NNMGA, extended his best wishes to the newly elected board members.
The new team will lead the NNMGA until August 2027.
