KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) is going to distribute petrol and diesel to the public and emergency vehicles on Sunday.

The NOC, issuing a notice on Saturday, said it has chosen 46 petrol pumps in Kathmandu Valley as well as Kavre district for the distribution.

The state owned-monopoly has stopped distributing petroleum products to the private vehicles for last one month after the shortage of fuel was aggravated.

However, the traffic pressure on the road is high as people are buying fuel in black marketing, informed traffic police.

The NOC has stated that it would not provide fuel to those pumps which faced action from the government for black marketing.
