Norwegian Ambassador calls on PM

KATHMANDU: Norwegian Ambassador to Nepal, Kjell Tormod Pettersen, on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter's office at Singhadurbar.

On the occasion, he apprised the prime minister that he was returning home with the ending of his tenure in Nepal.

The ambassador expressed his belief that the bilateral relations existing between the two countries would grow further in the days ahead.

Likewise, Resident Coordinator of the United States in Nepal, Ms Valerie Julliand, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees' representative Kevin J Allen also called on the prime minister today itself.
